In the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee of the Academy of Politics, Party committees and Party organizations at all levels have had many breakthrough policies and solutions in leadership, implementing and successfully completing the goals and tasks set out in the Resolution of the 16th Congress of Party Delegates of the Academy, and many tasks have been excellently completed. Notably: The Party Committee of the Academy, Party committees and Party organizations at all levels have thoroughly grasped and strictly implemented the resolutions, directives, plans and instructions of the Central Committee, the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Education and Training on the tasks of education and training and the motto: "The quality of training of the school is the combat readiness of the unit"; identified many close and correct leadership solutions, organized and implemented them closely and effectively.

During the term, the Academy has successfully implemented the construction of 11 position training programs, 8 social science and humanities lecturer training programs; supplemented and developed advanced political theory training programs, 9 master's training programs and 9 doctoral training programs, according to the Project "Innovation of training processes and programs for cadres at all levels in the Army to meet task requirements in the new situation", overcoming duplicate and outdated content; updating new knowledge on theory and practice, specialized and interdisciplinary scientific achievements; ensuring systematicity, inheritance, integration and connectivity between levels and grades; meeting the requirements of "standardization and modernization".

The Party Committee of the Academy resolutely leads and directs the application of active teaching methods; effectively implements the viewpoint of "taking learners as the center", the "flipped classroom" model, and the "reverse" teaching method; actively fosters knowledge, trains practical skills, and creative thinking methods for learners; effectively promotes the Training Management Center, promotes the application of information technology, digital transformation in management, operation, and supervision of the Academy's educational and training activities.

With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", the Congress identified 3 breakthroughs: Building a team of cadres and lecturers meeting the prescribed standards; innovating training programs, content and methods to meet output standards. Expanding cooperation, improving the quality of scientific research. Promoting the cultural values of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the new period; promoting administrative reform and digital transformation, building a smart and modern Academy.

Speaking at the congress, General Trinh Van Quyet emphasized: The Political Academy is the leading center of the Army in training and fostering political cadres, researching and developing military social sciences and humanities; training and fostering political commissars, political officers, teaching staff, researching theories and summarizing practical Party and political work in the Army to contribute to maintaining and strengthening the absolute and direct leadership of the Party in all aspects over the Army.

General Trinh Van Quyet suggested that the Party Committee and the Academy continue to strive to fully complete the identified goals, programs and plans in the coming term; focus on leading and directing the implementation of a number of key tasks such as: Continuing to thoroughly grasp the policies and guidelines of the Party and the Central Military Commission, especially the strategic decisions and Resolutions of the 14th National Congress of the Party, creating high consensus and unity in the entire Party, the entire army and the entire people, firmly stepping into the new era; leading and directing the research and concretization of the Party's policies and guidelines, especially new policies on military, national defense, national defense, building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite and modern People's Army, organizing 2-level local governments... to include in the curriculum; Focus on leading and directing the implementation of breakthroughs in building and standardizing the team of cadres, lecturers, experts, and leading scientists, increasing the proportion of cadres and lecturers with master's, doctoral, associate professor, and professor degrees commensurate with the position, prestige, and meeting the requirements of the Academy's tasks.
