The main ceremony was prepared very elaborately and thoughtfully. The trays of offerings were prepared by 24 communes and towns in the district, mainly held at the Bach Than Temple and then brought to the center of the stadium at the foot of the con tree column. The ceremony at the Bach Than Temple was to worship heaven and earth and pray for the gods to grant favorable weather, healthy people, lush trees, growth of all things, and bountiful harvests.

After carrying the Tong tray from Bach Than Temple, the Shaman and the Chief Priest along with all the delegates of the procession will perform the worshiping ceremony at the foot of the Con tree. During the festival, there is a drum beating ceremony to open the festival, plowing the fields with the wish for a lucky plowing path at the beginning of the year, prosperity, and bountiful harvest; early spring fortune, singing, dancing and performances by nearly 300 students of Chiem Hoa High School, members of folk culture clubs and the Con throwing ceremony.
