From today (November 21), Da Nang is piloting software to monitor exams and collect cashless fees in driving tests.
On the morning of November 21, the Department of Transport of Da Nang City coordinated with Viettel Da Nang and the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB) - Da Nang Branch to sign a memorandum of understanding on cooperation to pilot the software for monitoring exams and collecting cashless fees in driving tests.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Bui Hong Trung, Director of the Department of Transport of Da Nang City, said that the software for monitoring exams and collecting cashless fees in driving tests will be applied at the Da Nang Driving Test Center to serve the management work of the Department of Transport at driving tests in the city.
Accordingly, the software will be piloted from November 21, 2024 to February 21, 2025 at the Da Nang Driving Test Center.
According to Mr. Trung, the software for monitoring exams and collecting cashless fees in driving tests was researched, built, and comprehensively digitized by the Department of Transport of Da Nang City according to the department's driving test process.
"The software will support the Department of Transport in optimizing the driving test process from fee collection, controlling test takers until the end of the test, issuing driving licenses to students," said Mr. Trung.
According to the Director of the Department of Transport of Da Nang City, the pilot phase aims to evaluate the actual effectiveness of the software, collect feedback from users to perfect the solution before expanding official implementation.
"The software deployment marks a new step forward in the department's driver training and testing management, continuously applying IT with the goal of comprehensive digital transformation of the industry's management and providing maximum convenience for people in the city," said the leader of the Department of Transport of Da Nang City.

"After 3 months of construction and development, the software can now be put into pilot testing. I hope Da Nang will be the first locality to deploy the application and will become a model for replication across the country," said Lieutenant Colonel Thuong.
Colonel Nguyen Van Dong, Director of the Central Highlands - Central Region, individual customer block - MB Bank said that MB is moving towards cooperation with the Department of Transport of Da Nang City and Viettel with the aim of professionalizing and expanding the ability to provide comprehensive payment platforms and solutions in the implementation of information technology applications and digital transformation of the transport sector throughout Da Nang City.
"This is considered an important step for both MB and the Department of Transport of Da Nang City, Viettel in implementing the strategy of developing modern payments," said Colonel Dong.
