Connecting students and businesses
Responding to Dan Tri reporter, Mr. Pham Van Hung, Deputy Head of the Faculty of Business Administration and Tourism, Director of the Center for Innovation and Startup Support - Hanoi University, said that the development of technology is an opportunity but also a pressure for the school.
The pressure is that schools need to update and innovate their training programs to be suitable, providing students with adequate equipment after graduation, so that they can participate in the labor market.
Regarding the training program, according to Mr. Hung, the school will separate basic knowledge and research and learning methods. In which, basic knowledge is the hardware that is difficult to change, while the easiest thing to change is research and learning methods.
For example, in the past, lecturers assigned and corrected homework, but now students analyze and even criticize each other.
In particular, the school regularly interacts with businesses so that students can experience internships and practical training, each semester is diverse according to each subject.

According to Mr. Hung, no matter how much technology changes, it cannot replace humans. Therefore, the most important thing is still basic knowledge. Then, whether we use AI or technology, the operator is still human, and humans are still very important.
Therefore, what schools provide to students must be flexible. There are many advantages to teaching many different tools at the same time, such as when students are placed in any environment, they can confidently participate in the labor market.
Answering a student's question: "In the face of changing technology, what do we students need to equip ourselves with?", Mr. Hung said that students must definitely have solid knowledge and skills.
Learning is not limited, especially interdisciplinary is very important, for example, students studying economics must know a little about technology, using some common computer tools.
In particular, students must have professional ethics and adaptability, and be able to self-study skills and information. This is an important requirement for them to succeed.

From there, the potential and career opportunities in the financial sector in Vietnam, and the analysis of practical requirements to be successful in this field are evaluated and analyzed.
Mr. Luong Ngoc Minh, Vice President of Hanoi University, said that the development of AI, Big data and Blockchain technology directly impacts the financial industry, creating new trends in the future.
The seminar helps students and lecturers learn more about professional knowledge, have flexible thinking, and the ability to analyze data related to economics and markets.
On that basis, the school is always committed to updating the training program, wishing to bring students many practical opportunities for self-development.
