This morning, February 21, the Provincial Military Command (PPC) held a ceremony to announce the decision of the Minister of National Defense and the Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army on the reorganization of the provincial-level PPC, the district-level PPC and units under the PPC and regulations on the classification of local military agencies. Deputy Commander of Military Region 4, Colonel Ngo Nam Cuong; Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Dao Manh Hung; Commander of the Provincial PPC, Colonel Nguyen Huu Dan; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Duc Tien attended the ceremony.

At the ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Tai Tinh, Deputy Commander - Chief of Staff of the Provincial Military Command, announced the decision of the Ministry of National Defense on the reorganization of the provincial military command, district military command and units under the provincial military command. The decisions of the Ministry of National Defense stipulate the classification of local military agencies and promulgate the organizational chart, staffing of the first-class provincial military command, first-class and second-class district military command and units under the provincial military command.

Also at the ceremony, the Quang Tri Provincial Military Party Committee announced the decision to establish the Logistics and Technical Department Party Committee and appointed the Party Executive Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Commander of Military Region 4, Colonel Ngo Nam Cuong requested the Party Committee of the Provincial Military Command to quickly complete and stabilize the organization and staffing according to regulations; focus on arranging and assigning personnel at all levels, adjusting and supplementing the number of troops and technical equipment for reorganized units that are lacking and newly established, without affecting the regular tasks of the agencies and units. Along with stabilizing the organization and staffing in terms of administration, promptly complete the Party organization, mass organization, military council, associated with building a contingent of cadres, Party members, and Youth Union members with sufficient qualities and capacities to meet the requirements and tasks.

For the Logistics - Technical Department and some merged, reorganized, and newly established squad-level organizations, the Party Committee and commanders thoroughly grasp and innovate methods and styles in leadership and management, creating positive changes in awareness, responsibility, and implementation. At the same time, pay attention to and take care of the material and spiritual lives of officers and soldiers so that they can work with peace of mind and complete assigned tasks well.

Previously, the working delegation of Military Region 4 inspected the preparation for receiving and training new soldiers in 2024 at Regiment 842, Provincial Military Command.
