This announcement was issued by the Traffic Police Department, Ho Chi Minh City Police and said that from March 17, the work of granting and exchanging driving licenses will be officially expanded at the Police Stations of 17 wards in districts, Thu Duc City where motorbike registration is being carried out and the Police Stations of 5 central communes in Binh Chanh, Can Gio, Cu Chi, Hoc Mon, Nha Be districts.

This activity aims to facilitate people in issuing and exchanging driving licenses, in order to save time and travel costs.

Previously, the Traffic Police Department completed training on issuing and exchanging driving licenses for commune-level police on March 14.

Up to now, Ho Chi Minh City Police have deployed 25 points to receive applications for changing and re-issuing driving licenses, including 22 points as above and 3 points: No. 252 Ly Chinh Thang Street, Ward 9, District 3; No. 8 Nguyen Anh Thu Street, Trung My Tay Ward, District 12; No. 111 Tan Son Nhi Street, Tan Son Nhi Ward, Tan Phu District.

Working hours at the locations are from Monday to Friday (7:30 - 11:30; 13:30 - 17:00) and Saturday (7:30 - 11:30).

Ho Chi Minh City Police announced that people who need to change or reissue their driving license can choose to submit their application through the National Public Service Portal or go to the above locations for processing.

According to the CGST Department, as of March 14, the unit has received 6,859 applications for direct driver's license renewal and re-issuance and 2,514 applications registered via Public Service 4.
