The "I Love My Fatherland" journey program gives gifts to teachers, students in mountainous areas and students from Laos

On the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, July 27 (1947-2024), Huong Phung Border Guard Station, Quang Tri Border Guard in collaboration with the National History Teachers' Delegation and Nguyen Hue High School, Hanoi City organized the Journey "I Love My Fatherland" program with the theme: Towards Khe Sanh - Helping you go to school.

The program included a series of meaningful, humane and practical activities such as: saluting the flag at national border marker 597, awarding 50 scholarships and savings books worth nearly 200 million VND to history teachers, students with especially difficult circumstances in Huong Hoa district, students in the program "Helping children go to school - Adopted children of the Border Guard Station" and awarding scholarships to students of May village, Se Pon district, Savannakhet province (Laos).

Major Nguyen Van Bang, Deputy Political Commissar of Huong Phung Border Guard Station, said: “This is an activity organized by the units to educate the love of homeland and country and to show gratitude to the heroic martyrs for the younger generation so that they will love the heroic history of the Vietnamese people even more. It helps the younger generation to more clearly identify their responsibilities and obligations to the nation and the Fatherland.”
