The political and artistic program "Independence Star 2025" took place on August 24.

To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day September 2, the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Forces' Tradition Day and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection, the Editorial Board of the Communist Magazine, the Ministry of Public Security presided over and coordinated with the Ministry of Culture - Sports and Tourism, the Hanoi Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee to organize the "Independence Star" art and political program in 2025 (year 10) with the theme: "For a prosperous Vietnam".

The "Independence Star" program in 2025 has the participation of many famous artists.

Over the years, “Independence Star” has become an annual program (starting in 2016), awaited by many veteran revolutionaries, intellectuals, party members and the masses during the autumn days of August.

The program was selected to honor the noble cultural and historical values of the nation; the patriotism and indomitable will of generations of heroic Vietnamese people who sacrificed and devoted themselves to the independence and freedom of the Fatherland under the leadership of the glorious Communist Party of Vietnam ; and at the same time, emphasize the great achievements over the past eight decades, especially in nearly 40 years of the country's Renovation. Through that, it demonstrates the determination of the entire Party, the entire army, and the entire people to bring the country into a new era - the era of national growth, realizing the aspirations of building a socialist Vietnam, a rich people, a strong country, democracy, fairness, and civilization.

The political art program "Independence Star" in 2025 is structured with 3 chapters, 15 performances with many art genres: Singing - dancing - music - commentary, combining sound, light, images with Hologram technology, laser, 3D LED... both historical, traditional, folk and combined with the creative colors of contemporary art technology.

Chapter 1 “Under the majestic flag of the flying yellow star” (Aspiration for Independence - Freedom): Inspired by the original name of the program Sao Doc Lap which has become a brand after 10 times of organization. “Independence” is the right, the fundamental value that the Vietnamese people have fought for thousands of years to “win, maintain and protect”, including the Ho Chi Minh era with the peak being from the Party’s founding in 1930 until Uncle Ho returned to the country in 1941 to directly lead, from careful preparation with the establishment of Viet Minh in 1941, the establishment of the Vietnam Propaganda Liberation Army in 1944, the series of events at Tan Trao in the historic Autumn of 1945 to the August General Uprising and the Declaration of Independence giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam on September 2, 1945 and then “thirty years of fighting for national independence” with brilliant milestones: Dien Bien Phu in 1954, the Great Spring Victory on April 30, 1975 and the wars to protect the Fatherland in the Southwestern border (1978) and the Northern border (1979). All for two words: Independence - Freedom!

In that proud journey since the founding of the country, the People's Public Security force was born right at the peak of the August Revolution in 1945 and played an important role in protecting independence, national security and social order in the new situation, the young Government. The People's Public Security is the sword to protect the Party, the new Government, the new regime and maintain social order. Next, the People's Public Security force was a part of the two great resistance wars in the two regions until the great victory in the Spring of 1975 with many hardships, sacrifices but glorious and resounding achievements.

Chapter 2 “The Journey to Build Peace” (Innovation and Action, Building a Happy Nation): Demonstrates the nation’s efforts to overcome difficulties and rise up in the process of innovation and reap many very basic development achievements, in which there are countless silent sacrifices in peacetime by cadres, party members and soldiers. That is the foundation for continuing reform and innovation, referring to the comprehensive revolution in national governance, education, institutions and laws to realize the aspiration for prosperity in chapter 3.

In the journey of building peace, protecting the country, bringing happiness to the people, we acknowledge the countless silent sacrifices of the forces, including the soldiers of the People's Public Security, the People's Army, and the medical force, who are always ready to fight and sacrifice for the peace of the people.

Chapter 3 "Aspiration for a Prosperous Vietnam" (continuing tradition, creating the future, building a rich, prosperous, and powerful nation): This is preparing for the beginning of a new era of the nation starting from 2026 - summarizing 40 years of Renovation and the 14th National Party Congress, opening a new era - the era of development, prosperity, wealth, civilization, and national growth.

Chapter 3 will use art to convey a message about the conditions, tasks and reforms that are being carried out at a rapid pace, “cannot be delayed any longer” to truly build Vietnam “more than ten days now” as Uncle Ho wished, truly powerful, prosperous and all the fruits of development for the people to enjoy with two goals: One hundred years of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (2030) and One hundred years of the founding of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (2045).

With the message conveyed in the final chapter, in the new era of development, aiming at the goal of "for an independent, free, happy, prosperous, civilized, prosperous Vietnam, with an important position and voice in the international community", we need to do a lot of work right now to realize the aspiration of a strong and prosperous Vietnam in 2045.

The art program promises to bring to the audience nationwide heroic and touching moments, with pride, gratitude, faith and aspiration to rise up strongly and join hands to build the country. That aspiration has been fueling the traditional fire so that today's generations continue to overcome difficulties and challenges, unite, build and protect our country to become increasingly rich, prosperous, civilized and happy.

The program was broadcast live on VTV1 channel of Vietnam Television, rebroadcast on Hanoi Radio and Television, People's Police Television (ANTV) and spread on other social media.
