Recognizing the team's brave fighting spirit and smart tactics, Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan also assigned a new task to U.23 Vietnam: "VFF also has a plan to prepare carefully and scientifically for the team to prepare for the next two tournaments, with the goal at SEA Games 33 being to be present in the final match," he said at the ceremony.

U.23 Vietnam will have to prepare more carefully.

Speaking at the ceremony, head coach Kim Sang-sik expressed his emotion when the team received a congratulatory letter from Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh . He also deeply thanked the leaders at all levels, the Vietnam Football Federation and the fans for always supporting and creating favorable conditions for the team.

The Korean strategist emphasized that the training trip in Vung Tau helped the whole team prepare thoroughly, creating a foundation for the recent achievements. According to Mr. Kim, this victory will be a great motivation to move towards two key goals this year: the U.23 Asian qualifiers and the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand.

In the immediate future, the U.23 Vietnam team will focus on the goal of winning the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand this December, the U.23 Asian Championship and then the 2026 ASIAD. Coach Kim Sang-sik and his players will have a lot of work to do, especially when the teams in the same region all consider U.23 Vietnam as the number 1 opponent after the recent U.23 Southeast Asian Championship.
