On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), singer Chi Pu was moved to share valuable historical documents about her family - where many generations served in the army and participated in historic moments of the country.

"A few days ago, when Chi shared about her family - where many people used to wear military uniforms, Chi's whole family had the opportunity to look back together, feeling emotional and proud. Today, my father sent Chi more valuable documents," the female singer shared on her personal page.

In particular, Chi Pu revealed for the first time about her grandfather - who was on duty at the Command Center with General Vo Nguyen Giap on the morning of April 30, 1975.

In the post, Chi Pu shared two precious photos. The first photo is a secret telegram sent by General Le Trong Tan from the Eastern Front Command to the General Staff reporting victory and entering the Independence Palace at 10am. The recipient was the Headquarters of the Operations Department - General Staff, where Chi Pu's grandfather worked at that time.

The second photo captures the moment General Vo Nguyen Giap took a photo with the officers on duty at the Command Headquarters at 11am on April 30, 1975, right after receiving the secret telegram announcing the victory. In the photo, Chi Pu's grandfather is standing right next to General Vo Nguyen Giap.

"This historical moment is not only a part of the nation's memory but also a sacred memory for my family. I would like to share it with all my gratitude and respect," Chi Pu expressed.

Previously, the singer also revealed the military tradition in her family. From grandparents, parents to relatives of Chi Pu all wore military uniforms. Notably, her grandfather, father and uncle all held the rank of Colonel.

"50 years of national reunification is an opportunity for Chi to look back and be grateful to the generations in her family who have worn the uniform of a soldier. From those who went through war to those who continued in peacetime - still sharing the same mission," Chi Pu shared in a previous post.

Chi Pu once revealed that since childhood she was educated in the disciplined environment of a military family. This helped her form many valuable qualities such as perseverance, determination, not afraid of hardship, bravery, intelligence and always striving for her goals.

The female singer once expressed her desire to participate in the program Sao Nhap Ngu to follow in the footsteps of her family members.
