On January 14, the Provincial Party Committee and the Office of the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province organized the second donation drive to support the construction of houses for poor households, policy families and households with housing difficulties.
Previously, the Steering Committee on building houses for people in difficult circumstances in Thanh Hoa province launched a donation movement according to each level of cadre and position, with the principle that cadres holding higher positions donate more.
Specifically, officials in the Provincial Party Standing Committee, members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, and members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee donated at least one month's salary (excluding allowances).
For officials holding the positions of Deputy Head of Party Committees, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises Bloc, Deputy Chief of the Provincial Party Committee's Office, and Member of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee, the minimum support level is half a month's salary (excluding allowances).
The officials who are heads and deputy heads of departments, offices, units under the departments, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission, the Provincial Party Committee Office, the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises Bloc have supported at least 1/4 of a month's salary.
Civil servants, public employees, and workers who do not hold leadership or management positions have donated at least 1 day's salary/day's income (excluding allowances).
After the fundraising event, leaders, civil servants and employees of the Provincial Party Committee collected more than 770 million VND, while the Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee donated more than 300 million VND.
According to the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, from 2024 to September 2025, the locality sets a goal of building at least 8,000 houses, exceeding 3,000 houses compared to Directive No. 22 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee.
