Recently, joining the atmosphere of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the reunification of the country, young singer Miha released two self-composed and performed songs: Because I am a Vietnamese and Lien mot que huong . Miha said that as a young singer who was fortunate enough to be born in peacetime, she wanted to contribute more meaningful songs to join the whole nation, especially the young generation, in responding to this special historical moment. Particularly with the song Lien mot que huong , the female singer hopes to spread the spirit of solidarity when the provinces and cities prepare for the merger plan.

Miha was born in 1997, her real name is My Hao. Since she was a child, she has been passionate about singing and dancing, often participating in art performances at school. After graduating from high school, Miha passed the entrance exam to the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music, continuing to pursue a professional singing career. After 8 years of studying chamber music and traditional music, Miha had a solid foundation of music knowledge and began to challenge herself with light music.

In 2020, Miha impressed the audience when she won the Sao Tim Sao contest. However, after the contest, due to personal difficulties, she was forced to temporarily put her plans on hold. Miha confided: “At that time, I had to balance between studying, starting a business and pursuing a musical career. I was lost in orienting my image, music genre as well as economic issues. There was a time when I thought I could no longer pursue this career.”

After a long journey of effort, Miha has gradually found her own direction with contemporary folk music mixed with EDM (electronic music). She said she will continue to release some songs of this genre, especially self-composed songs. Miha shared: “I want my music to combine modern and traditional elements, be youthful, vibrant but have an academic quality. And importantly, I want to aim for the image of a versatile artist, good at singing, good at dancing and able to compose.”

In 2024, Miha was one of the young singers of the Ho Chi Minh City Artist Volunteer Club participating in business trips to Truong Sa archipelago, DK1 platform, and Southwest islands to serve people and soldiers on remote islands. “The trips to remote islands are the key to opening new doors for me. Being able to visit soldiers and people on islands and platforms and send my voice, energy, and gratitude to those soldiers through songs is something I am extremely proud and happy about. Returning from the voyages, in addition to gratitude, I have more motivation to contribute to art,” Miha expressed.
