Việt NamViệt Nam08/10/2024

On the morning of October 8, at Hidden Charm Hotel (Ninh Thang commune, Hoa Lu district), the Department of Tourism opened a training course on food preparation according to Halal standards (Muslim standards).

Halal standards are standards based on Islamic law, which include special regulations related to diet, food origin and processing according to a separate, strict process.

According to estimates, Islam is the second largest religion in the world with more than 1.7 billion people, accounting for nearly 1/4 of the world's population. Southeast Asia alone currently has nearly 300 million Muslims. In recent years, Vietnam in general and Ninh Binh in particular have become popular and chosen destinations for tourists from Muslim countries such as India, Indonesia, Malaysia, etc. The most typical event was the event of welcoming more than 5,000 Indian visitors to Ninh Binh at the end of August.

The training course takes place over 2 days (October 8-9). In addition to theory, students will practice in the kitchens of several restaurants in the province.

Through the training course, it contributes to improving the quality of human resources for restaurant service businesses in the province, meeting the strict requirements of Muslim cuisine. From there, it continues to enhance the position and attraction of Ninh Binh to international tourists.
