According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan province, in the first months of the year, tourism activities in the province have been quite bustling. In addition to the advantages of beautiful nature, many pristine, clear beaches and mild climate, Binh Thuan has been promoting domestic and international promotional activities such as: Meeting and connecting trade between Binh Thuan and Korean tourism businesses; participating in introducing the image of Binh Thuan destination at the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival, the Southern Folk Cake Festival - Can Tho in 2025, the Vietnam International Tourism Fair - VITM Hanoi in 2025...

Tourism products are increasingly diverse. Along with that, festivals, cultural, sports and tourism events in the first months of the year such as: Boat racing festival on Ca Ty river; Ta Cu mountain climbing tournament; Mui Ne international windsurfing tournament... have attracted tourists to Binh Thuan.

Thanks to that, in the first 3 months of 2025, the whole province welcomed 2.6 million visitors, an increase of nearly 14% over the same period in 2024. Of which, international visitors reached 152,000, an increase of 17% over the same period in 2024. The structure of international visitors to the province has shifted compared to the same period, Chinese and Russian visitors tend to return, while Korean visitors have decreased compared to the same period last year. The countries accounting for a large proportion of the total number of international visitors to the province are: China, Korea, Russia, Germany, the US, the UK... Revenue from tourism activities reached 7,050 billion VND, an increase of 16% over the same period last year.

Notably, since the beginning of the year, Binh Thuan tourism has continuously received positive news when many strategic investors have chosen Binh Thuan as a "destination". Typically, the Provincial People's Committee and Sun Group have organized the signing of an investment cooperation agreement. This memorandum of understanding on strategic investment development cooperation is of great significance, helping to exploit the available strengths and potentials, promoting the advantages of Binh Thuan province and Sun Group, contributing to socio-economic development, making Binh Thuan a key province in the region in terms of tourism and services. Or the Provincial People's Committee of Binh Thuan and Vietnam Airlines Corporation have signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement for the two sides to promote mutual support in developing tourism, trade and service products when Phan Thiet Airport is accelerating its investment progress and soon put into use. Along with that, PDSI Group wishes to invest in a service complex combined with a golf course with a scale of about 425 hectares with a total estimated implementation cost of up to 2.6 billion USD in the province.

According to the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Binh Thuan tourism is preparing for the busiest domestic tourism season of the year, especially the April 30 - May 1 holiday and the peak summer season. Taking advantage of the opportunity and promoting growth momentum, Binh Thuan province continues to implement many programs to attract visitors. The province focuses on developing the market, tourism services, MICE tourism products, agricultural tourism, cultural tourism, community tourism, etc.

In particular, a series of large-scale cultural, sports and tourism events will be held in Binh Thuan on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation Day of Binh Thuan (April 19, 1975 - April 19, 2025) such as: Art program, fireworks display and Rally to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation Day of Binh Thuan province; photo exhibition, combined with display and introduction of trade and tourism products with the theme "Binh Thuan - 50 years of construction, innovation and development"; Binh Thuan hot air balloon festival - 2025; Phan Thiet city traditional boat racing tournament...

According to a survey from a number of tourism service businesses in the province, the number of bookings for the April 30 - May 1 holiday this year is gradually "heating up" and increasing as the holiday approaches. Currently, the pre-booking capacity ranges from 50 - 60%. This year, the trend of independent travel continues to "reign", with individual guests in small groups, families, and friends dominating. Grasping the trend, businesses, accommodation establishments, and tourist areas in the province have implemented solutions to ensure facilities and human resources are ready to serve tourists during this peak season...
