Returning to Vietnam after 13 years, G-Dragon quickly attracted special attention from the fan community. The Korean male idol had an impressive performance in the rain at My Dinh National Stadium ( Hanoi ) on June 21.
G-Dragon received many compliments from the Vietnamese online community for his sophisticated way of coordinating outfits and choosing harmonious colors. Known as the “King of Kpop fashion ”, the male idol cleverly honors his personal style through a series of accessories from luxury brands.
Performing at My Dinh National Stadium, G-Dragon attracted attention when he appeared with a gorgeous diamond watch worth 240,000 USD (about 7.2 billion VND), possessing a 25.7 carat gemstone from the brand Jacob & Co.
From airport fashion to stage performances, G-Dragon always wears the signature daisy necklace without petals. This is a limited edition in a special collaboration between jewelry brand Jacob & Co. and Peaceminusone - the fashion brand founded by G-Dragon himself.
The design is a variation of the chrysanthemum symbol associated with G-Dragon's image and currently comes in two versions. The Yellow Sapphire version is crafted from 925 silver, studded with yellow sapphire set in 18K gold and green tsavorite, measuring 1.7cm in length. This model is listed at $1,200 (about 36 million VND).
Meanwhile, the high-end Pavé version worn by G-Dragon during his performance in Vietnam costs 11,000 USD (about 331 million VND) and is made from 18K white gold, studded with white pavé diamonds, a prominent yellow diamond in the center and a blue tsavorite, 1.8cm long.
To add to his extravagance, G-Dragon also added a Jacob & Co. Tennis bracelet made from 18K gold, studded with 12 carats of diamonds, priced at $19,800 (over 596 million VND). This design has been “sold out” on online shopping sites.
On his left hand, the male idol born in 1988 also wears a Berbere Chromatic Aqua Blue ring covered with turquoise lacquer worth 4,600 USD (about 138 million VND) from the Repossi brand.
In particular, the Peaceminusone daisy brooch without petals was specially crafted for G-Dragon by Jacob & Co. The piece uses 18K white gold as the base, studded with 9.31 carats of round-cut white diamonds, 1.94 carats of yellow sapphires and 4.20 carats of tsavorite.
The exact price of this expensive accessory has not been announced yet. However, according to estimates from the online community, Jacob & Co.'s design could range from $90,000 to $120,000 (equivalent to VND2.7-3.6 billion).
In addition, the Big Bang leader also wore a straw Canotier hat with a moderately wide brim and a decorative black ribbon priced at 890 USD (about 20 million VND) from CELINE.
G-Dragon (real name Kwon Ji Yong, born 1988) is the leader of the boy band Big Bang. He is known as an icon of the music and fashion industry in Korea.
