According to Editor-in-Chief Nguyen Truong Son, the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding opens up new prospects for deeper cooperation between the press agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the specialized research agency of one of Vietnam's 13 Comprehensive Strategic Partners. Accordingly, the two sides will closely coordinate in many areas such as: sharing information and research data; organizing seminars and thematic discussions; developing research and communication publications; exchanging delegations and connecting expert networks; as well as strengthening coordination in activities to promote the image and foreign policy of Vietnam in general and the Vietnam-India relationship in particular.
Deputy Director of the Institute of Politics and International Relations, Director of the Center for Indian Studies, Dr. Bui Viet Huong hopes that the cooperation with The Gioi and Viet Nam Newspaper will be an effective "extension" of the Center for Indian Studies' foreign information, contributing to the dissemination of important reference documents, helping the public have a deeper, more comprehensive, and updated view of issues related to the world's most populous country, one of the world's five largest economies.
After signing, the two sides will soon implement specific cooperation, first of all, coordinating to organize an international conference on digital transformation cooperation between Vietnam and India, scheduled for next month.
