Today, April 16, at the Provincial Military Command, the Policy Department, General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army held a ceremony to hand over relics and memorabilia of martyrs to their relatives and families in the province.
Accordingly, the two martyrs whose relics and mementos were handed over to their relatives and families this time are: Martyr Tong Van Man (born in 1929), hometown Cam Giang commune, Ben Hai district, Binh Tri Thien province (now Thanh An commune, Cam Lo district, Quang Tri province); enlisted in 1950, held the position of Platoon Leader, and died on March 12, 1954. Martyr Tran Doan (born in 1916), hometown Hai Thanh commune, Hai Lang district, Quang Tri province (now Hai Lam commune, Hai Lang district, Quang Tri province); enlisted in 1945, and died on May 5, 1954.

The relics and memorabilia include military records, degrees, certificates, and certificates of merit of the two martyrs, all of which were issued, certified, and authenticated more than 70 years ago. Although small, these relics and memorabilia have great spiritual value, expressing deep gratitude to the martyrs and their relatives and families.
At the ceremony, representatives of the Policy Department, General Department of Politics presented gifts to 10 policy families and outstanding meritorious people of Cam Lo and Hai Lang districts.
