On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the founding of Tuoi Tre newspaper, Vice Chairwoman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Tran Thi Dieu Thuy and Secretary of Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union Ngo Minh Hai sent their best wishes and expectations for the future development of the newspaper in the new era, the digital era of journalism.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Tran Thi Dieu Thuy highly appreciated the role and contributions of Tuoi Tre newspaper throughout its formation and development process.
Ms. Thuy emphasized: " Tuoi Tre , from a newspaper of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union, after 50 years has become the main press agency of Ho Chi Minh City and also a national press brand when Tuoi Tre 's coverage has spread throughout the country."
For 50 years, Tuoi Tre newspaper has closely followed each stage of development of Ho Chi Minh City, from the post-war reconstruction period, economic renovation, to the process of urbanization and global integration.
According to Ms. Thuy, Tuoi Tre is a pioneer in many aspects, from financial autonomy, developing a network of reporters in key areas to applying technology in digital content production.
In addition, Tuoi Tre newspaper is also recognized for proactively accompanying youth movements, encouraging the creative aspirations of young people, especially in communication activities on people's livelihood, education and startups.
Ms. Thuy expressed her belief that Tuoi Tre newspaper will continue to promote its "Red - Young - Saigon" identity, continue to quickly and promptly inform the thoughts of young people, and better serve readers nationwide to contribute to building a professional press and media industry.
