Ba Ria - Vung Tau organizes many delegations to celebrate Christmas 2024

On the occasion of Christmas 2024, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province plans to organize activities to visit and congratulate religious establishments and Catholic and Protestant compatriots in the area.

Accordingly, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province has requested the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of districts, towns and cities in the area to coordinate, guide, assist and create conditions for Catholics and Protestants to celebrate Christmas in 2024, in accordance with the provisions of law; at the same time, meet the legitimate religious needs and sentiments of believers, dignitaries and officials.

According to Mr. Huynh Minh - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, Christmas is an important holiday for Christians around the world as well as Catholics and Protestants in Vietnam.

Therefore, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee has done a good job of mobilizing, uniting, and promoting the tradition of solidarity and companionship with the nation of Vietnamese Catholics and Protestants. Thereby, it demonstrates the concern of the Party, government, and Vietnam Fatherland Front for religious people.

For Christmas 2024, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province plan to organize delegations of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, with the participation of representatives of member organizations, the Vietnam Catholic Solidarity Committee in the locality and other religions, to visit and congratulate the Bishop's Palace, Bishops, priests, outstanding pastors, superiors of religious orders; visit leaders of the Catholic Solidarity Committees of districts, towns, and cities; dignitaries, monks, and families of Catholics and Protestants who have contributed to the revolution and are typical in the locality.

In conjunction with celebrating Christmas, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the province also organized to commend and reward outstanding Catholic and Protestant organizations and individuals who have made many positive contributions to patriotic emulation movements, production labor, socio-economic development and contributions to social security, especially in movements and campaigns launched by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels.

According to the representative of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, on the occasion of Christmas this year, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province also mobilized religious organizations, affiliated religious organizations, dignitaries, monks, priests, Catholic and Protestant compatriots to promote the tradition of "Mutual love and affection" and continue to participate in implementing patriotic emulation movements, campaigns, plans and coordination programs launched by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province.
