Eating pears is good for the digestive system.

Pears contain a lot of fiber which is good for bowel movements, helping to prevent colon cancer and diverticular disease.

Pears are rich in antioxidants such as vitamin C, plant compounds, and especially fiber, which helps promote overall health.
