For the past 18 years, the "For Agent Orange Victims" walk has been held annually to support victims affected by the Agent Orange disaster in Vietnam. The event has profound and practical humanitarian significance, contributing to the dissemination of information to the people of Ho Chi Minh City and the whole country about the consequences of war, and is an effective bridge connecting the hearts of compassion for Agent Orange/dioxin victims.

The walk attracted more than 5,000 participants.

The war has been over for more than 50 years, but its consequences are still present. Many Vietnamese families are still suffering from unhealed wounds, especially the pain caused by Agent Orange. 4.8 million Vietnamese people were exposed and from 1975 to the present, nearly 1 million people have died, more than 3 million people are victims with great difficulty in traveling with countless tragedies.

The walking program took place enthusiastically and excitingly at Dam Sen Park.

Incomplete statistics show that the country currently has more than 850,000 second-generation victims, 350,000 third-generation victims and about 500 fourth-generation victims. The material and spiritual lives of victims are still lacking, especially families with many generations of victims, victims with serious illnesses, frequent relapses, and children with deformities, disabilities and intellectual disabilities.

The cost of caring for and treating victims is enormous, while the identification of victims of Agent Orange/dioxin is fraught with difficulties, requiring paperwork, medical records, and related files.

Mr. Kim Dae Jong, Chairman of the Korean International Association for Victims of Agent Orange, presented gifts worth 94 million VND. The Organizing Committee also presented 20 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, and 5 wheelchairs.
