Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Dakrong district, Tran Dinh Bac, said that through reviewing and counting livestock farms in areas where livestock farming is not allowed according to Resolution No. 160/2021/NQ - HDND dated December 9, 2021 of the Provincial People's Council (Regulations on areas within the inner city of cities, towns, townships, and residential areas where livestock farming is not allowed, regulations on bird nest farming areas and support policies when relocating livestock farms out of areas where livestock farming is not allowed in Quang Tri province), Hamlet I and Hamlet II of Krong Klang town, Dakrong district are located in areas where livestock farming is not allowed.

There are currently 18 livestock farms in these two hamlets. Although Dakrong district has recently organized propaganda sessions on the content of Resolution No. 160 to the people, especially livestock and poultry farmers in hamlets I and II of Krong Klang town, up to now, only 1 livestock farm is moving to a new location, while 17 livestock farms cannot move due to lack of locations.

Faced with that situation, Dakrong district immediately requested livestock farms to maintain the status quo, not to continue expanding in areas where livestock farming is not allowed, and to urgently search for locations to relocate.
