(kontumtv.vn) – To help ethnic minority women change their lives and develop their economy, the Women's Union at all levels of Kon Tum province has made efforts to implement the Campaign "Changing the thinking and working style of ethnic minorities, helping ethnic minorities rise up and escape poverty sustainably".

The province currently has 102 grassroots associations, 763 branches with over 88,500 members, of which ethnic minority members account for 74%. By 2025, the Provincial Women's Union strives for 100% of district associations, city associations and grassroots associations to have at least 1 activity or model implementing the Campaign "Changing the thinking and working methods of ethnic minorities, helping ethnic minorities to escape poverty sustainably"; at least 15% of ethnic minority women in poor and near-poor households change their thinking and working methods; 8% of ethnic minority women in poor and near-poor households know how to apply scientific advances in production, know how to spend reasonably to accumulate capital for production investment; 5% of ethnic minority women in poor and near-poor households have improved material and spiritual lives.

To achieve this goal, all levels of the association should strengthen the mobilization of women in general, and ethnic minority women in particular, to understand the purpose and meaning of the Movement; guide ethnic minority women to effectively use support capital from models, cooperatives, and association groups; eliminate inappropriate customs and practices; train and transfer science and technology, and improve the capacity of ethnic minority women members; mobilize social resources, integrate capital from programs and projects to support members and poor ethnic minority women.../.
