Dak Lak detected 821 traffic violations during the April 30 and May 1 holidays

During the April 30 and May 1 holidays (from April 30 to May 4, 2025), there were 4 traffic accidents in Dak Lak province, killing 3 people and injuring 3 others.

Accordingly, compared to the same period in 2024, there was no increase in the number of cases, but there were 02 deaths and 01 injury. Also on this occasion, the Traffic Police force of the whole province detected 821 cases of traffic violations, detained 123 vehicles, and imposed a total fine of 1.8 billion VND. Of which, there were 109 cases of alcohol concentration violations, 377 cases of speeding violations, 7 cases of overloading, 33 cases of violating road sections, lanes, avoiding overtaking and not obeying traffic light signals...

According to the assessment of the Traffic Police Department (Dak Lak Provincial Police), during the 5-day holiday, the number of people and vehicles participating in traffic increased significantly, especially on national highways and roads leading to tourist areas, entertainment areas. Following the direction of the Government and central ministries and branches, the Traffic Police force in the whole province maintained 100% of its personnel on duty, increased traffic guidance and command, and handled violations on the roads to prevent traffic accidents in the area.
