The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training said that in the 2025-2026 school year, Ho Chi Minh City will continue to implement the registration of wishes, adjust wishes and announce the results of admission to grade 10 public high schools through the Ho Chi Minh City Grade 10 Admissions and Exam Organization Information Portal, address: https://ts10.hcm.edu.vn.

According to the regulations of the Department of Education and Training, candidates can register for a maximum of 8 grade 10 wishes, including 3 regular grade 10 wishes, 2 specialized grade 10 wishes and 3 integrated grade 10 wishes. Candidates should register for wishes close to home and absolutely cannot change their wishes after the admission results are out. If they are admitted to a wish, they must study that wish.

According to the Department of Education and Training, in the 2025-2026 school year, public high schools will be able to enroll at least 70% to about 80% of junior high school graduates. The high or low quota for grade 10 will depend on each region and each specific school, suitable for the physical facilities of each high school in order to effectively implement the 2018 General Education Program.

Currently, Ho Chi Minh City has 88,772 grade 9 students expected to graduate from junior high school. Thus, with the above rate, high schools will enroll more than 71,000 students into public grade 10. Of which, the expected quota for regular grade 10 is 67,835 students; specialized grade 10 is 1,330 students; and integrated grade 10 is 735 students.

Through the Grade 10 Admissions Portal, information about public high schools will be made public and transparent to parents and students, including enrollment targets, school education programs, 2-session/day educational activity plans, school-specific programs, achievements, tuition fees, etc. Especially the regulations and organization of elective subjects of the school when implementing the 2018 General Education Program. In addition, there is information about vocational education centers - continuing education, continuing education, vocational secondary schools, and vocational colleges for parents and students to learn and refer to in the process of choosing directions after graduating from junior high school.

According to the Department of Education and Training, the above information will create conditions for parents of 9th grade students to learn more about high schools before registering for 10th grade, thereby choosing the most suitable option for their students.

The Department of Education and Training said that the department is currently directing schools to develop plans and update accurate information on the system. The department also continues to improve the infrastructure of the enrollment data system in a way that is convenient for parents and students and ensures confidentiality; develops a feature that connects the 10th grade admission results with the students' electronic transcripts to facilitate parents when registering for admission online through the electronic information portal of high schools. This is considered a new feature of this year's online 10th grade enrollment system.
