University Admissions 2025: Answering concerns about admission subject combinations

According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, June 15 is the deadline for universities to announce this year's university admission information. Compared to previous plans, the official admission methods of many schools have been adjusted or new information has been added.

In 2025, one of the new points in university admissions is the subject combination for admission. In addition to adding new combinations that closely follow the 2018 General Education Program, schools have removed combinations that are no longer suitable. Notably, some universities have stopped using the traditional subject combination for admission in block C00 (literature, history, geography), causing anxiety for candidates. After the request from the Ministry of Education and Training, schools have added this admission combination this year.
