On the evening of August 17, at My Dinh Stadium, the special art program "Proud to be Vietnamese" brought the audience an emotional journey throughout the nation's history, from the early days of nation building to the Ho Chi Minh era and today's aspirations. The opening act "Origin - Calling Vietnam's Name" made the audience choke up when the images of Lac Long Quan, Au Co, the Hung Kings and then 1000 years of Chinese domination appeared full of emotion. The national story was recreated through dance combined with visuals like a vivid movie, taking viewers through the dynasties: Ngo, Dinh, Le, Ly, Tran, to the Tay Son and Nguyen dynasties. In particular, the moment of reenacting Ngo Quyen's Bach Dang victory or the image of Uncle Ho reading the Declaration of Independence deeply engraved the pride in the indomitable will of the Vietnamese people. Immediately after the Declaration of Independence, more than 30,000 spectators at My Dinh Stadium joined singer Tung Duong and a choir of 200 artists in "Marching Song" by musician Van Cao. The bright red national flag fluttered on the screen, combined with the majestic sound, turning that moment into an affirmation: The Vietnamese Fatherland is eternal and indestructible. Singer Anh Tu with the song "You are Ho Chi Minh" brought the audience back to sacred memories of Uncle Ho. The image of the simple leader appeared through documentary footage combined with dance illustrations with the lotus symbol, making the whole space seem to be immersed in infinite love and gratitude. The message throughout chapter II is conveyed through the medley "Praise the Fatherland - That Soldier - Vietnam's Stance" performed by Meritorious Artist Hoang Tung, Pham Thu Ha, Le Anh Dung and Tien Hung. The songs remind us of the sacrifices of generations of fathers and brothers, affirming the strength of national unity. Singer Hoa Minzy continued with "Pain in Peace - Desire" bringing many emotions when raising her voice to pay tribute to those who have fallen and the desire to build a strong Vietnam. At that moment, both the singer and the audience were moved when the lyrics blended with the scene on stage. Also in that emotional vein, Duong Hoang Yen sang "The National Flag" making the audience proud when seeing the image of the red flag with yellow star appear. The audience continues to travel across the country with music : Hoa Minzy passionately with "Homeland", Ha An Huyen - Huyen Trang rustically with "Northwest Love Song", Oplus group - Dinh Thanh Le - Tien Hung full of inner strength with "Lake on the Mountain", "Mo te rang rua" and "Bai ca dat phuong Nam". Singer Mai Trang burst into flames with "Highland Flame". Those melodies combined with visuals depicting landscapes, festivals, and people from each region painted a colorful picture of the country - from the mountains and forests of the Northwest, the sunny and windy Central region, to the vast plateau and the Mekong Delta. Chapter III - "Proud to be Vietnamese" is a song looking towards the future. Lam Bao Ngoc - Lam Phuc sang "Hello Vietnam", followed by Lam Bao Ngoc's solo "You in my eyes", depicting the youth and the desire to contribute of today's generation. Tieu Minh Phung and RamC recreated the beautiful image of the diverse and unified homeland of Vietnam through the song North - Central - South. Singers Tung Duong and Duong Hoang Yen closed the show with the song "Love of the Country", before the band Buc Tuong and Anh Tu stirred up the stage with "Road to Glorious Days". The entire artist then sang together in "Joining Hands" by musician Trinh Cong Son. Tens of thousands of spectators sang in unison, flashbulbs from phones lit up the stands, fireworks exploded in the sky over My Dinh, ending the night with a great chorus of pride.
