On the afternoon of August 16, Ngo Quyen High School (Dong Anh, Hanoi) reported on the decision to "stop training" NNH students at the beginning of the school year due to parents' opinions about the school's training program.

The school's report stated that in preparation for the new school year 2024 - 2025, Ngo Quyen High School informed and sought parents' opinions on arranging classes in the direction of improving quality and received the agreement of most parents.

During the process of exchanging information with the parents of student NNH, class 12A5, due to the lack of understanding between the two sides, the school hastily made the decision to "stop training" student H.

On August 15, following the direction of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, the school strengthened, discussed and reached an agreement with the student's parents. Specifically, the school decided to revoke the decision to "stop training" for student NNH.

The school board also said that the previous actions were unreasonable, caring for students but not using the right method.

On the afternoon of August 16, NNH's parents said that the family had received a notice of revocation of the decision and an apology letter from the Board of Directors of Ngo Quyen School.

NNH's family acknowledged the apology from the school's Board of Directors and hopes that the incident will be closed to help their child stabilize his psychology, focus on studying well, and prepare for the 2025 high school graduation exam.

Ngo Quyen High School has returned the application, creating conditions for NNH to transfer schools according to the family's wishes.

Previously, after receiving information about the above incident, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training requested the Principal of Ngo Quyen High School to seriously implement a number of related contents, including the responsibility of arranging and assigning students to classes according to regulations.

The Department requires this school to ensure the consensus of all students, parents of students in the class and the agreement of teachers in the school's pedagogical council. At the same time, the school needs to strictly implement the public regulations according to Circular No. 09 of the Ministry of Education and Training.
