The school organizes the 10th grade entrance exam with 3 subjects: Foreign Language Proficiency Assessment, Math and Natural Science Proficiency Assessment, Literature and Social Science Proficiency Assessment.
Foreign Language Specialized High School organizes exam in one session only
Specifically, subject 1 - Foreign language proficiency assessment with multiple choice and essay test format, within 90 minutes. Candidates can take the test in one of the following foreign languages: English, Russian, French, Chinese, German, Japanese, Korean.
Subject 2 - Assessment of Math and Natural Science abilities in the form of multiple choice tests within 55 minutes.
Subject 3 - Assessment of Literature and Social Science competencies in the form of multiple choice and essay tests; within 55 minutes.
The 2024 entrance exam schedule for grade 10 at Foreign Language High School will be held in one session only, Saturday morning, June 1.

Foreign Language Specialized High School recruits students based on the principle of taking the total score from high to low until the quota is full, from the specialized system with scholarships to the specialized system.
The admission score is the total score of all subjects on a 10-point scale, with a coefficient of 2 for foreign languages, rounded to two decimal places. The test scores and the benchmark scores will be announced at the same time. The test results will be announced before June 30 on the school's website.
In 2024, the total enrollment target of the Foreign Language Specialized High School is 525, including specialized programs and specialized programs with scholarships, an increase of 25 enrollment targets compared to 2023. Of which, both specialized programs and specialized programs with scholarships have increased enrollment targets, because this year the school no longer enrolls non-specialized programs.
