Over 600 volunteers responded to "Pink Spring Festival"

Today, February 20, the Vinh Linh District Red Cross Society coordinated with the Hue and Central Coast Blood Transfusion Center to organize the first "Pink Spring Festival" for voluntary blood donation in 2024.

This voluntary blood donation campaign had more than 600 volunteers who are officials, civil servants, and employees of agencies, localities, organizations, and unions in the entire district. As a result, the organizing committee received a total of 550 units of blood.

Over the years, Vinh Linh has always been one of the leading units in the humanitarian blood donation movement of Quang Tri province.

In 2024, Vinh Linh district plans to organize 4 voluntary blood donation campaigns, aiming to mobilize over 1,600 units of blood. Thereby continuing to contribute to meeting the demand for blood reserves, serving emergency and treatment activities at medical facilities.
