On the evening of March 22, in Ha Tinh, the Central Youth Union organized a program to celebrate the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and awarded the Ly Tu Trong Award in 2024.

The program was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha and leaders of central ministries, departments and agencies. On Ha Tinh side, there was the participation of Mr. Hoang Trung Dung - Secretary of Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee - and local leaders.

According to the Central Youth Union, the Ly Tu Trong Award is given to outstanding Youth Union officials with outstanding achievements in labor and work; in performing assigned professional and political tasks; being active in Youth Union work and youth movements...

In 2024, 164 dossiers from 64 provincial, municipal and affiliated unions were sent to the organizing committee. The award selection council selected 100 outstanding delegates to receive the Ly Tu Trong award. Of these, 68 were male and 32 were female; 11/100 delegates were ethnic minorities.

Mr. Bui Quang Huy - First Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Youth Union - said that the 100 Youth Union officials who were awarded the Ly Tu Trong Award today are exemplary Youth Union officials, typical examples in many fields of work, belonging to many different subjects, areas and regions.

They are typical examples of pioneering spirit, responsibility, exemplary in the collective, community, creativity, daring to think and know how to do, with many achievements in studying, working, laboring and producing.

They have many initiatives that actively contribute to innovating the Union's operation methods, improving techniques, reforming administration, preserving cultural lifestyle, protecting the environment; ensuring security and order, maintaining traffic safety and order...

At the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha affirmed that the Ly Tu Trong Award not only honors and commends outstanding examples but also encourages and motivates millions of young union members nationwide to cultivate virtue, train their talents, take the lead, volunteer to devote themselves, bring their youth and aspirations to contribute their efforts and intelligence to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that young people need to proactively and actively participate in solving difficult and new problems of the country, agencies and units; each union member and young person should do well in their duties in each working position; promote the spirit of volunteerism, spread the good cultural values ​​of the nation and the spirit of serving the community.
