Experience witnessing the nation's historical moments ( Video : Doan Thuy - Hai Yen).
On the afternoon of August 12, the Vietnam Military History Museum opened the exhibition "Keeping the oath of independence", displaying more than 300 images, documents and artifacts, some of which are being displayed for the first time.
For the first time, augmented reality (AR), digital photo restoration and touch-sensitive picture frames are integrated into a historical exhibition space, allowing viewers to directly interact, experience, research and explore the past comprehensively.
According to the introduction on the website of the Vietnam Military History Museum, the exhibition includes 3 themes:
Part 1 - Independence Autumn: General introduction to the historical process of the nation from the time of the French colonial invasion to before the August Revolution in 1945; the process of preparing forces, opportunities and strategic decisions of the Party and President Ho Chi Minh; the seething revolutionary spirit of the armed forces and people of the whole country during the August General Uprising; the moment when President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam and the image of the entire nation shouting the oath of independence at the historic Ba Dinh Square.
Part 2 - Keeping the Oath: The exhibition reflects the general path of the long and arduous struggle of the Vietnamese people, through the wars of national liberation against French colonialism and American imperialism, fighting to protect the border and fulfilling the noble international duty, firmly protecting the independence, sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity of the Fatherland.
Part 3 - Glory of Vietnam: The exhibition reflects the country's great achievements on the path of building socialism, clearly demonstrated in all fields of politics, culture, economy, society... In which, the Vietnam People's Army continues to play a core role in building a national defense, fighting to firmly protect independence and sovereignty, and at the same time participating in peacekeeping activities of the United Nations, contributing to enhancing Vietnam's position and prestige in the international arena.
Technology has opened up a new approach, making history no longer distant but present vividly right before the viewer's eyes.
The exhibition opens to visitors from August 12 at the Vietnam Military History Museum.
