Many people brought red flags with yellow stars, hand fans, drinking water, sun protection shirts... to find seats along Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Nguyen Dinh Chieu, Nguyen Du, Nam Ky Khoi Nghia streets... leading to the main parade area on Le Duan street.

People wait along Pham Ngoc Thach Street, District 1 (corner of Notre Dame Cathedral).

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong, 63 years old, living in Binh Thanh District, was waiting to watch the parade on Le Duan Street, District 1. She said: “I have watched the parade on TV many times, but this is the first time I have witnessed it in person right in the center of Ho Chi Minh City. Although the sun is hot, the feeling is hard to describe, very proud.”

Despite the scorching sun, many people still patiently waited for hours to witness the solemn parade of military and armed forces on Le Duan Street.

Mr. Le Quoc Dat (27 years old), who brought his young child from Tan Phu district to the parade area, marched from 2 pm and shared: "I want my child to feel this sacred atmosphere. Standing under the sun is fine, just seeing the image of the soldiers marching in unison is enough to make it worth it."

People stood along both sides of Han Thuyen, Le Duan, Pham Ngoc Thach streets... quite crowded.

The area in front of Diamond Plaza shopping mall, District 1 became "overloaded" with people and vehicles pouring in.

Young people are equipped with red flags with yellow stars and fans to protect themselves from the sun while waiting for the parade time.

Many young people also bring drinks and food to wait for the G hour.
