Ho Chi Minh City inaugurates 1,395 billion VND multi-purpose circus and performance theater

The project is directed by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee to invest and build, located on Lu Gia Street (Phu Tho Ward), part of the Phu Tho Sports - Cultural Complex, with an area of 10,000 ^m2 , including 2 basements and 12 upper floors, a total height of 57.5 m, a total floor area of nearly 29,500 m². The main auditorium of the Phu Tho Circus and Multi-Purpose Performance Theater is modernly designed with 2,000 seats, a central stage with a 24 m high ceiling, integrated sound, lighting, and stage mechanics systems to meet complex performance techniques such as flying trapeze, hanging, and controlled falling on the raised and lowered stage floor system, lake, ice rink, etc.

The project is invested by the Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Civil and Industrial Works. The construction process is a collaboration between professional teams of prestigious domestic and foreign partners over the past 2 years: Afmea Cirus Group (Kingdom of Belgium) established the project and designed the facility; The joint venture of Luu Nguyen Construction Company Limited and Construction Corporation No. 1 (CC1) is the main contractor. Currently, the project is entering the trial run phase, synchronizing the mechanical and electrical systems, sound, lighting and stage techniques, to ensure the best operating standards, ready to be put into operation at the end of 2025.
