The 10th grade entrance exam for the 2023-2024 school year will take place on June 6 and 7. There are 158 exam sites, including 147 regular exam sites and 11 specialized exam sites. There are a total of 4,102 exam rooms, including 3,778 regular 10th grade exam rooms with 24 candidates/room. Each exam site will have 3 additional backup exam rooms.
Mr. Minh added that the Department has directed teaching and learning, completed teaching and learning plans, and evaluated and classified students in general schools for the 2022-2023 school year; organized review sessions for grade 9 students according to the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training, in accordance with the school's reality.
Accordingly, the preparation of facilities and equipment for the exam such as locations for printing and copying exam papers, storing exam papers, making and grading exams; information technology infrastructure, computers, printers, scanners; fire prevention and fighting; printing and printing publications, stationery, etc. to serve the exam, ensuring safety and hygiene at all exam locations, have all been carefully prepared.
"The Department will coordinate with the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health and the Ho Chi Minh City Police to ensure security and order for the exam, and coordinate with the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport to ensure traffic safety for the exam," said Mr. Minh.
2023 is also the year the Department will carry out the strongest digital transformation in registration and exam organization. Candidates will not need to register on paper as before, all documents are digitized; they only need to sign the confirmation right at school. This reduces errors and is very convenient for candidates.
In addition, the Department has implemented online enrollment registration through a mobile app combined with a GIS map to support parents and students in registering their wishes, avoiding choosing wishes that are too far from home. Thanks to that, parents and students have chosen more suitable wishes than before.
