Accordingly, determining teachers' professional tasks during the summer is the basis for calculating the actual number of working days and additional income.

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training said the following activities are teachers' professional duties during the summer:

First, teaching and learning activities have direct products. Specifically:

Admissions (excluding activities to support exam season, activities to introduce, promote, and provide admissions information to students); training and knowledge development for students (including training excellent students, reviewing and preparing for exams, tests, teaching for universal education subjects...);

The organization of mandatory exams and assessments is assigned by state agencies to public service units; seminars, professional conferences, and scientific research activities are assigned and implemented by competent authorities to public service units responsible for organizing, implementing, and participating.

Second, mandatory activities serving teaching and learning tasks such as:

Training, fostering professional knowledge, skills directly related to the major and teaching content; disseminating mandatory knowledge on the tasks of developing and implementing the school year plan, training programs, specialized legal regulations, etc.

Professional and technical exams and tests; mandatory professional conferences to implement teaching and learning tasks.

Particularly for the activities of youth assistants, the general manager of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Team during the summer will include activities related to the work of the Youth Union and the Team according to the summer activity organization plan of the competent state agency.
