On the morning of December 14, the Emulation Bloc of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of the provinces and cities in the Red River Delta and the Northern Midlands held a conference to summarize the emulation and reward work. Comrade Nghiem Xuan Cuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended the conference.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nghiem Xuan Cuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, emphasized that in 2024, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Quang Ninh province and its units faced many difficulties, especially the impact of storm No. 3. However, with the close direction of the Central Government and the province, and the efforts of the entire political system, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has achieved positive results, effectively implementing the theme of joining hands to build modern agriculture, wealthy farmers, and civilized countryside.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that 2025 is a year of special importance, the final year of the 5-year plan for the period 2021-2025, competing to complete the targets of Party congresses at all levels, towards the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Agriculture and Rural Development sector. He hopes that Quang Ninh province will continue to receive attention, support, and facilitation from units in the sector to promote emulation movements, contributing to restructuring the agricultural sector towards sustainable development, improving the income of farmers, building modern, clean, and organic agriculture.

In 2024, member units in the bloc actively implemented the annual working theme "Proactively overcoming difficulties, solidarity, cooperation, innovation and development" and emulation movements. Thanks to that, many implementation targets exceeded the set plan such as: Total planting area exceeded 26%; total output of fresh meat for slaughter exceeded 32%; new forest planting area exceeded 75%; the number of recognized OCOP products exceeded 60%, irrigated cultivation area exceeded 2.7%.

Identifying 2025 as a year of special significance, units in the bloc strive to complete and exceed the assigned plan targets for 2025 and the 5-year plan 2020-2025, making achievements to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Agriculture and Rural Development sector; organizing and implementing emulation movements effectively and in depth; replicating advanced models in all areas of work; maintaining the order of emulation registration, signing emulation agreements, summarizing and summarizing emulation and reward work to ensure timely compliance with regulations; effectively implementing the revolution in organizing the apparatus, managing payroll, restructuring the team according to the motto "streamlined - compact - strong - efficient - effective - efficient".

On this occasion, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Quang Ninh province awarded the 2025 emulation block leader flag to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Ninh Binh province.
