Honoring outstanding literary and artistic works created at the Creative Houses in the period 2017-2022

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Ngoc Khoi - Acting Director of the Center for Supporting Literary and Artistic Creation said: "The announcement, display and honoring of works created at the Creation Houses is not only a professional summary activity but also demonstrates the deep concern of the Party and State for the intellectuals and artists - those who have been contributing to the vitality of the national culture, enhancing the "soft power" of the country. This is also an opportunity for us to honor the artistic work of the artists and the creative achievements of the authors. At the same time, it creates motivation and encouragement for the artists to continue to nurture their passion, enthusiasm, and create many works with profound ideological values and unique artistic forms, honestly reflecting the reality of the country, expressing the national spirit, the aspiration for innovation and development".

During the period of 2017-2022, the Center for Supporting Literary and Artistic Creation has coordinated with the Central Literary and Artistic Associations and provinces and cities as well as agencies and units under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and a number of units of the armed forces to organize 338 comprehensive creative camps at the Creative Houses and 64 turns of artists to create in-depth works.

There were 5,555 artists participating in the Creative Camps, creating 19,157 works, including: 9,654 Literature works; 1,936 Fine Arts works; 4,311 Photography works; 1,258 Music works; 455 Theater works; 390 Cinema works; 81 Architecture works; 280 Folk Art works; 447 Literature and Art works of Ethnic Minorities; 315 Dance works.

The works published by the Composers during this period were not only diverse in genre but also rich in form, affirming their artistic value and influence in cultural life. Many works bear the mark of new creativity, deeply reflecting the reality of the country and Vietnamese people in the period of renovation and integration. Literary works have contributed to enriching the contemporary literary treasure, creating resonance among professionals and readers.

In the fields of fine arts, photography, music , theater, cinema, dance... many works not only won prestigious domestic awards but were also displayed, performed and released abroad, introducing the image of Vietnam to international friends.

According to reports from the Literature and Arts Associations and the units organizing the Creative Camp, in the period of 2017-2022, 283 works won awards at competitions and received certificates of merit, including 192 works in the fields of literature, stage scripts, film scripts, and critical theory that won central and local awards; 71 works in the categories of fine arts and photography won domestic and international awards; 20 film scripts were put into production and won awards at the Film Festival, received Certificates of Merit from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism , the Association and news agencies and newspapers; many works in the categories of theater and dance were also honored by central professional associations.

Among the works published and awarded in the period 2017-2022, there are 34 typical works proposed by Associations, agencies and units to be honored at this Announcement Ceremony.

Mr. Tran Ngoc Khoi said: "In the coming time, the Center for Supporting Literary and Artistic Creation will continue to make efforts to innovate content and methods of operation, improve service quality, and at the same time focus on building an open, diverse and modern creative space to better meet the increasing creative needs of artists. Thereby, contributing to concretizing the attention and care for culture, literature and art according to the guidelines and policies of the Party and State"./.
