Revealing the reason why Man Utd recruited Benjamin Sesko

"Benjamin possesses a rare combination of blistering pace and the ability to physically overwhelm defenders, making him one of the most exciting young talents in world football," said Jason Wilcox, Man Utd's director of football, after the Red Devils unveiled Slovenian Benjamin Sesko ahead of the Premier League's return next week.

Benjamin Sesko joined Man Utd from RB Leipzig for 85 million euros on a 5-year contract. Sesko's arrival is expected to bring a breath of fresh air to the "Red Devils" attack as the 22-year-old striker is considered one of the most promising young strikers in Europe.

Since joining Leipzig from Salzburg in 2023, he has scored 39 goals and provided eight assists in 87 appearances. Last season alone, Sesko scored 21 goals in all competitions for the German club.

"We have closely followed Benjamin's career. All our data analysis and research has concluded that he has the qualities and character needed to thrive at Man Utd.
