Comrade Hoang Trung Dung - Secretary of Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee noted that the Provincial Military Party Committee needs to continue to effectively implement the Resolution of the 8th Central Committee, 11th tenure on "Strategy for protecting the Fatherland in the new situation"; thoroughly overcome shortcomings and limitations after the review.

In 2023, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Military Party Committee thoroughly grasped and deployed the organization to fully implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, resolutions, directives, decisions and conclusions of superiors. Strictly implement the principle of democratic centralism, concretize resolutions, plans and action programs. Focus on leading and directing the implementation of military and defense tasks in line with the practical situation of each agency, unit and locality.

Colonel Mai Ngoc Viet - Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command reported on the results of implementing political tasks and Party work in 2023.

100% of Party committees and subordinate Party organizations completed their tasks, of which 96.8% completed their tasks well. Training, drills, military recruitment; fostering knowledge of national defense and security; participating in flood and storm prevention, overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, search and rescue; and military rear policies were implemented seriously and effectively. Successfully organizing the provincial defense zone drill and defense zone drill in 4 localities achieved the set goals and ensured absolute safety.

With a sense of responsibility and openness, the collective and comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Military Party Committee frankly pointed out a number of shortcomings and limitations and proposed goals, solutions, and directions for leadership and direction in implementing military and national defense (QS-QP) tasks in the coming time.

Colonel Nguyen Xuan Thang - Commander of the Provincial Military Command: Continue to promptly disseminate and raise awareness among officers and soldiers about the Party, State, and military's policies and the province's tasks. Timely detect, prevent, and repel degradation in political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, "self-evolution, self-transformation" within the military.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Hoang Trung Dung - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee emphasized: The Provincial Military Party Committee has closely followed the policies and resolutions of the Party, the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, the Standing Committee of the Military Region 4 Party Committee, the policies and resolutions of the Provincial Party Committee, promptly concretizing them in accordance with the unit's tasks. Closely coordinating with the police and border guards to perform their tasks well, contributing to maintaining political security and social order and safety in the area.

The militia and self-defense forces have promoted their roles and responsibilities well, and made efforts with other forces to successfully complete their tasks, especially in mobilizing to serve defense area drills at all levels, preventing and fighting natural disasters, and ensuring security and order.

Comrade Hoang Trung Dung noted that the Provincial Military Party Committee needs to continue to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement resolutions, directives, regulations and instructions from superiors on military and defense tasks; promptly do a good job of advising Party committees and authorities at all levels on local military and defense tasks; strengthen political and ideological education, legal education, and current affairs information; strictly maintain democratic regulations at the grassroots level, creating favorable conditions for cadres, soldiers and units to successfully complete their tasks.

Continue to effectively implement the Resolution of the 8th Central Committee, Session XI on “Strategy for National Defense in the New Situation”. Resolutely overcome shortcomings and limitations after review; strive to have no party members who have degraded in political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, and manifestations of “self-evolution” and “self-transformation” within the Party.
