Thanh Hoa Cultural Heritage and Antiquities Association conducted a handover ceremony of a newly cast bronze drum measuring 1.05m x 0.79m, depicting 7 typical images of Uncle Ho to the Vietnamese people and many unique motifs and patterns on the bronze drum such as: Stars, Lac birds, musical instrument symbols, ancient costumes, human activities such as dancing, drumming, etc. In addition, Thanh Hoa Cultural Heritage and Antiquities Association also presented Dien Bien province with a sword imitating Ba Trieu's sword (the original is currently kept at Thanh Hoa Museum, a national treasure) measuring 0.70m and plated with 2K gold; a relief depicting the image of Thanh Hoa province's cart convoy serving the Dien Bien Phu Campaign exactly 70 years ago.
Each artifact has its own sacred value and meaning because each number and pattern carries a message expressing the sentiments, enthusiasm, and noble gesture of Thanh Hoa people towards Dien Bien Phu. This is also one of the practical activities of Thanh Hoa province towards celebrating the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu victory.
Receiving the artifacts, Vice Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee Vu A Bang reviewed Thanh Hoa's contributions to the Dien Bien Phu campaign as well as in the current period. Affirming that the event of presenting the bronze drum is an activity of important historical significance, an activity towards the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that this is the sentiment of Thanh Hoa province in particular, the whole country in general, to express gratitude for the great sacrifice of our ancestors in the struggle to protect the Fatherland. At the same time, he hoped that the Thanh Hoa Cultural Heritage and Antiquities Association would continue to have practical work in the coming time, accompanying Dien Bien province in heritage conservation activities, preserving the cultural identity of ethnic groups...
On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to the Thanh Hoa Cultural Heritage and Antiquities Association and 5 individuals of Thanh Hoa province; the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism awarded Certificates of Merit to 15 individuals of Thanh Hoa province for their outstanding achievements in implementing the program of casting and presenting bronze drums to Dien Bien province, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory.

After the reception ceremony, the artifacts will be displayed at the Exhibition House of the Veterans Association Cultural Center on the E2 Hill relic, Dien Bien Phu City.
