Notably, the Party Committee and the Military Region Command consulted with the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, and coordinated with local Party committees and authorities to promote the combined strength of the entire political system, build all-people national defense, and build increasingly solid defense zones.

Grasp the situation, advise, propose, and coordinate to handle situations related to national defense and security well, maintain political stability to create conditions for economic and social development in the region; improve the quality of training, drills, competitions, and sports events.

On behalf of the Central Military Commission Standing Committee and the leaders of the Ministry of National Defense, Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong warmly commended and congratulated the results and achievements that the Party Committee and the Armed Forces of Military Region 9 have achieved in the past time; at the same time, he asked the delegates to promote democracy, raise self-criticism, analyze and clarify the causes of shortcomings to find effective solutions, creating a truly clear change in the coming term.

The Deputy Minister of National Defense noted that the Party Committee of Military Region 9 needs to continue to focus on leading and directing the serious implementation of the policies and directions of the Central Committee, the Central Military Commission, and the Ministry of National Defense; focusing on the Resolution of the 13th Central Committee, Session VIII, on the Strategy for National Defense in the new situation and resolutions, strategies, and projects on the military, national defense, and national defense fields.
