The seminar was held with the aim of consolidating and enhancing political trust; friendship and solidarity; promoting cooperation and connection between the young generation of the border management and protection forces on both sides. Through strengthening cooperation between the two forces, it will contribute to promoting peace, friendship, cooperation and development between the two countries in general, and building friendship on both sides of the border in particular.

Over the years, the young generations of the two countries, including young officers of the Lang Son Border Guard and young cadres of the Guangxi Immigration and Exit Border Control Station, are the generation that inherits the revolutionary cause of the two countries' armed forces, playing an extremely important role in preserving, nurturing and developing the traditional friendship and solidarity between Vietnam and China.

At the Seminar, young officers and young cadres from both sides gave some opinions on the management of smart border gates, which should focus on proactive consultation, strengthening coordination between the two sides, as well as the need for continuous and timely exchange of information. At the same time, each officer and soldier needs to proactively research, learn, and improve their professional expertise, especially their level of information technology use.

At the Dialogue, delegates from both sides discussed the importance of strengthening the traditional friendship of “comprehensive strategic partnership” in the new situation; proactively advising and proposing coordination in opening classes, training programs, exchanging experiences, and promoting education on the history and significance of the Vietnam-China relationship.

In particular, the discussions also pointed out the importance of promoting coordination, preserving and promoting the good relationship between the two sides, contributing to deepening the close relationship between the two forces, joining hands to build a peaceful, friendly, stable, cooperative and developing border.

At the same time, the two sides need to continue to research and advise on proposals to promote foreign affairs activities; step up propaganda for residents on both sides of the border to raise awareness of strictly complying with the provisions of the three legal documents on the Vietnam-China land border; actively advise the authorities on both sides of the border to deploy and replicate the model of "Friendship Messenger" and the model of "twinning stations - stations, twinning residential clusters" on both sides of the border.

On the Chinese side, Comrade Thanh Bang, Deputy Station Chief, Head of the Young Cadres Delegation of the Guangxi Immigration and Exit Border Control Station, expressed his joy at the results in the work of coordinating the management and protection of the border and border gates; maintaining political security and social order and safety of the young cadres and officers of both sides.

He affirmed that with the spirit of vanguard, determination, creativity, enthusiasm and dedication of the youth, the two sides will always take the lead in implementing tasks. The solidarity and closeness of the two sides will contribute to realizing the comprehensive cooperation goals of the two countries, especially in the field of firmly protecting territorial sovereignty, border security, fighting and preventing crime, building a border of peace, friendship, cooperation and development.
