Ancient pine tree falls on car in Xuan Huong ward - Da Lat

At Xuan Huong Park (adjacent to Tran Quoc Toan Street and Ho Tung Mau Street, Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat), a three-leaf pine tree with a base diameter of about 70cm and a height of more than 10 meters fell onto the parking lot in the park. At that time, there were about 10 tourist cars parked in the parking lot. As a result, a 5-seat car was severely damaged, the rear of the car was crushed.

About 20 meters away, another pine branch about 30 cm in diameter broke off and fell from above, also damaging a 7-seater car. In this area, a house's corrugated iron roof was also blown off by the wind and fell into the park. It is known that at the time of the tree fall, the area was sparsely populated, so there were no casualties.

Similarly, on Ho Xuan Huong Street, passing Than Tho Lake tourist area in Lam Vien Ward - Da Lat, a pine tree with a diameter of about 40cm and a length of about 10m was also uprooted and fell across the road. In Lang Biang Ward - Da Lat, Cam Ly Ward - Da Lat, trees were also recorded to have fallen.

Currently, authorities are working to overcome the consequences and inventory the damage caused by strong winds.
