Vietnam's cloud computing market is growing and very attractive to investors.

Moving data to the cloud is key for businesses to create breakthrough growth in the market and contribute to the digital economy .

On June 17 and 18, the "New Horizon Business Summit 2024" workshop took place in Hanoi , with the theme "New Tech, New Idea, New Future - New Technology, New Innovation, New Breakthrough".

At the conference, Mr. Tao Guangyao, General Director of Huawei Southeast Asia, said that with nearly 3 decades of companionship, Huawei has witnessed the remarkable progress of Vietnamese technology, constantly upgrading the solution ecosystem to match the new future vision.

According to Mr. Tao Guangyao, in the era of artificial intelligence (AI), new architectures of data infrastructure are required, especially data centers, clouds, storage and data security. Facing the huge demand for digital transformation, Huawei and more than 300 partners will explore the ecosystem of advanced products and solutions, and share all the knowledge and experience on how to design smart data centers, build fast data infrastructure and effectively secure against malware attacks, towards a smart and safe world .

At the event, Mr. Dao Quang Vinh, Solution Director of Huawei Vietnam, commented that the cloud computing market in Vietnam is very promising, growing year by year. Moving data to the cloud is the key for businesses to create breakthrough growth in the market and contribute to the digital economy.

According to Mr. Dao Quang Vinh, the Vietnamese cloud computing market is in the process of development and is very attractive to investors. All parties are looking to Vietnam, not only Huawei, many other companies have long-term plans to build data centers in Vietnam.

However, the cost of building a data center system is very high. When investing in a large-scale system with a large cost, all parties are waiting for a "breakthrough" point with the ability to return on investment larger. Recently, the economy has begun to show signs of recovery, the demand will grow every day.

In the Asia-Pacific region, Huawei has built data centers in almost all countries with average and developed economies, such as Singapore, the Philippines, and Indonesia. Hopefully, in the near future, Huawei will build and develop data centers in Vietnam.
