The male singer was born in 1998, the son of singer Trinh Vinh Trinh - the only generation Z of Trinh Cong Son's family to pursue a career as a musician.

The album name "Tran The" is taken from the real name Tran The The Thien given to his nephew by musician Trinh Cong Son. In this album, The Thien shows his own musical style, conveys his personal artistic concept while honoring his family heritage in a subtle and skillful way. The Thien and tlinh also collaborated on the song "Saigontey" which is trendy, modern, and has an international feel.
