The conference listened to the working group of the Steering Committee for implementing key projects in the province, leaders of Thai Thuy district, Thai Binh city, the Management Board of Economic Zones and Industrial Parks of the province, the Department of Health report on the implementation results, advantages, difficulties and proposed solutions to remove and speed up the progress of the projects: Development of residential housing in Dong Hoa commune, Tan Binh commune, Tien Phong ward, Thai Binh Provincial General Hospital with a scale of 1,500 beds (Thai Binh city), LNG - Electricity Center, VSIP Thai Binh Industrial Park (Thai Thuy) and the planning project to build a high-class commercial service urban area Con Vanh - Con Thu (Tien Hai).

Comrade Nguyen Tien Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee, said: In the coming time, departments, branches and localities need to coordinate more closely with each other, focus on researching and advising practical solutions for the province to direct and remove difficulties, support investors to implement projects smoothly. Enhance the role and responsibility of the heads of each department, branch and locality in performing their duties and tasks of removing difficulties, supporting and speeding up the progress of key projects of the province.

Comrade Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee emphasized: In order to promptly handle the shortcomings that are affecting the progress of current projects, it is recommended that departments, branches and localities thoroughly overcome obstacles due to subjective causes. Strengthen propaganda work, raise legal awareness and create consensus among the people to help key projects be implemented quickly and effectively.

Concluding the conference, Comrade Ngo Dong Hai, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Steering Committee affirmed: Key projects are very important, creating a breakthrough in the socio-economic development of the province, so the Steering Committee should monitor, direct and urge them to be soon deployed, completed and put into operation. He acknowledged that departments, branches and localities have actively participated in supporting and removing obstacles for investors to carry out project investment steps. However, currently the progress of these key projects is slow due to some difficulties that need to be urgently resolved in a substantial and decisive manner as soon as possible. To do so, each department, branch and locality should focus on reviewing the assigned tasks, analyzing and finding the root causes leading to obstacles and difficulties, thereby having measures to thoroughly resolve them.

Emphasizing the significance of propaganda work, the Provincial Party Secretary and Head of the Steering Committee requested all levels and sectors to provide sufficient information for people to know, discuss, do and support in order to promote the people's right to mastery, mobilize the strength of great national unity to quickly complete the province's key projects. The competent authorities have done a good job of preparing legal documents, arranging the right staff for the right job, ensuring social security for people in the project area. The Provincial People's Committee directed departments and sectors to closely coordinate with central ministries and sectors to promote the progress of approving administrative procedures related to investment activities for the projects. The working group regularly monitors progress, urges investors, and advises solutions for the Steering Committee to direct promptly and effectively. Each member of the Steering Committee, head of departments, branches, and local leaders clearly defined their responsibilities, agreed on their awareness, and resolutely took action to speed up the implementation of key projects of the province in the coming time.
