Speaking at the program, comrade Thai Thanh Bi, Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union of Binh Thuan province, said that the association has had many action movements, programs, and models with the unique brand of Binh Thuan youth.

Many programs to accompany young people in establishing their careers and careers are widely implemented, helping young people have the conditions to study, develop their economy and strive to become rich legitimately.

Expecting young people to promote the spirit of "5 readiness", that is, protecting the Party's goals and ideals of national independence associated with socialism; maintaining the spirit, will, and aspiration to rise up; adapting and mastering the 4.0 revolution; pioneering in digital transformation; going anywhere, doing anything, taking on difficult and new tasks when the Fatherland needs them.

For many years, the startup movement has been deployed by young people, promoting propaganda in activities.

However, delegate Tran Thi Kim Linh, Head of the Youth Startup Club of Binh Thuan province, said that currently, many young people's startups fail due to lack of knowledge and capital.

The Club representative suggested that the province increase the organization of seminars on startup knowledge, establish a fund to support young startups, and build a support network between businesses and young startups.

Delegate Nguyen Thi Quynh Mai (Tuy Phong district) said that currently, Vietnam is increasingly integrating internationally, however, the local youth are still limited in foreign languages, which becomes a barrier to development. Therefore, the province is interested in having mechanisms and policies to open free English classes for union members and youth in the province. Every year, the province should let young people exchange with other countries to learn experiences and improve their foreign language skills.

Provincial leaders shared some of the province's orientations and policies on the issue of job creation for young people. There are many opinions surrounding the need for the province to develop technology and artificial intelligence in tourism development, economic information, history, culture, etc.

Departments and branches actively support youth

Young people need to contribute ideas to build their homeland and solve local employment problems. Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Binh Thuan province, acknowledged that a very important factor in finding a job is to choose and determine a suitable career before going to school.

If you finish school but do not choose the right career, it will take 5-7 years to change careers.

Every year, the province creates jobs for 22,000 domestic and foreign workers.

The province always attracts large enterprises to set up production headquarters, which will contribute to solving local employment.

In 2023, the province also sent 500 people to work abroad in markets such as Japan, Korea, Russia, etc.

In addition, the amended Law on Employment creates opportunities for some poor and near-poor households to borrow capital from policy banks when working abroad. The National Assembly's draft amendment to the law has many solutions to job training for young people.

Answering the question of foreign languages, Mr. Nguyen Van Thach, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Binh Thuan province, said that currently, schools launch foreign language festivals and have English clubs as places to practice languages.

Every two years, the Department organizes an English speaking contest to improve foreign languages ​​and international integration.

From there, creating conditions for young people in the province to confidently participate in the international integration process. In addition, the application of current technology can help learn foreign languages ​​anytime, anywhere.

Binh Thuan Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Hoai Anh shared that the state's policy is to consider English as a second language.

In the integration process, if you have more English, you will have more opportunities to make friends and gain more knowledge. In the future, Vietnamese citizens will be global workers.

Young people who are good at foreign languages ​​will create more playgrounds, promoting the image of Binh Thuan in particular and Vietnam abroad. Currently, digital transformation is an inevitable trend, so being slow will not develop and fall behind.

To transform digitally, there are many things to do such as investing in digital infrastructure, databases, digital applications associated with security and information safety.

For example, the Provincial Party Committee has assigned the Provincial Youth Union to use AI technology to try to restore the blurred, black-and-white images of heroic martyrs. The province is also piloting virtual assistant software to advise officials on policies, decrees, and laws.

Regularly organize seminars, forums, startup exhibitions, and career counseling to create opportunities for cooperation between young entrepreneurs and businesses and find jobs for young people to stabilize their lives, contributing to creating a generation of young entrepreneurs for the province.

For the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union and the Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union of Binh Thuan province, focus on improving the qualifications, skills and creative entrepreneurial spirit of young people; build typical entrepreneurial models to serve as models, inspire and replicate in the province.
