Party member management is a very important task, aiming to contribute to building an increasingly clean and strong Party, improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization . In the context of many problems arising from post-merger practices, it is increasingly required that Party committees at all levels have appropriate solutions to manage Party members.

Residential Group 6, the old Tran Phu Ward, was merged into Bac Ha Ward from January 1, 2025. Accordingly, 5 party cells and 96 party members of Residential Group 6 also joined the new Party Committee. Before the policy of continuing to merge communes and wards, reducing the number of administrative units, the Party Committee grasped the situation, explained, shared, and propagated to orient thoughts and strengthen people's trust in the decisions of the Party and State.

In Duc Linh commune, Vu Quang district, by 2025, the locality has set a target for the Party Committee to complete its tasks well; 80% of Party cells or more will complete their tasks well. To achieve the set goals, the locality has resolutely implemented the work of Party member management, especially the innovation and improvement of the quality of Party cell activities.

Ha Tinh Party Committee currently has 17 subordinate Party Committees with 585 grassroots Party organizations; 4 Party Committees; 4,310 Party cells under grassroots Party Committees and 100,732 Party members. Currently, the continued need to merge communes and wards and streamline the apparatus is posing new problems for Party Committees and Party cells in managing Party members.

Currently, the management of Party members by many grassroots Party committees and Party cells has not met requirements. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen the Party's inspection, supervision and discipline work to prevent, stop and overcome shortcomings and violations of Party organizations and Party members right from the beginning, not allowing small violations to accumulate into major ones.
