In addition to the system of shopping centers, supermarkets... in localities at this time, goods are distributed and sold to consumers through the system of markets, grocery stores... also ensuring enough, meeting the needs of the people. The management board of the markets proactively instructs traders not to profit, to list prices clearly, to always be enthusiastic in buying and selling, creating a good impression for each person when shopping; at the same time, strengthen inspection work, especially on food hygiene and safety for direct consumer products.

Creating favorable conditions for people to experience shopping combined with promotional programs not only helps consumers feel more convenient and secure when spending but also drives retail revenue. In the first quarter of 2025, the total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue in the province improved, estimated at over 15,700 billion VND, up 13.5% over the same period. Of which, retail revenue is estimated at over 12,700 billion VND, accounting for 80.9% of the total, up 11.1%; revenue from accommodation and catering services is estimated at nearly 1,700 billion VND, accounting for 10.4% of the total, up 19%. The above figures have contributed to creating momentum for the province's economic growth.

Market Management forces strengthen inspection and control of goods during the April 30 and May 1 holidays.

In addition to positive signals, increased purchasing power also poses risks of trade fraud, counterfeit and poor quality goods. Authorities in the province have also stepped up market inspection and supervision to protect consumer rights and maintain stability during the long holiday.

Comrade Le Hung - Head of the Provincial Market Management Department said: "Before, during and after the holiday, the Department has directed the Market Management Teams in charge of districts and cities to focus on monitoring the area, inspecting high-consumption products such as: Food, cosmetics, electronics...; strictly handle violations of product prices and quality. At the same time, strengthen propaganda work, recommending consumers to choose to shop at reputable addresses, with clear origin, to avoid buying poor quality products".

With careful preparation from businesses, retailers and the drastic intervention of authorities, the commodity market in the province is bustling but still stable, without shortages or price hikes.
